Cyrus is such a happy baby boy! He is always smiling and laughing. I hate waking up in the mornings but it seems to be a lot easier when there is a smiling face to greet you. I have started taking my camera to bed at night so when Cyrus is so cute in the morning we can just play in bed. Here are some of Cyrus' happy faces!

Lakers Fans
So my husband- as many of you know- is a huge Lakers fan. He is from Los Angeles and has been a fan for I'm sure as long as he could bounce a ball! Well that pretty much means that Little Cy has to be a Lakers Fan too (according to Daddy). So last year before he was born I gave Daddy a present-a little Lakers jersey for Cyrus. Here is Daddy and Cy celebrating after the Lakers won one night in January. They have been on a losing streak for a few days but Daddy is still a fan. By the look on Cy's face I'm not sure if he wants to be a Lakers fan or not. I personally don't really care a lot about basketball or teams, but I will cheer with my husband. (Usually)

Blessing
Cyrus was blessed by his father on January 17, 2010. He was blessed with comfort and happiness. He was blessed with joy and love. He was blessed that his friends and family would uplift him and love him. He was blessed to share the gospel amongst his friends. That he would marry in the temple to a righteous daughter. He was also told the his Heavenly Father knows and loves him.
We had lots of family come and it was a fun weekend with all of them. We chose a long weekend so we would have a little extra time with everyone. Thank you to everyone who came: Mom, Dad, Kim, Emma, Amy, Teddy, Ashley, JB, Sidney, Lisa and girls that came from Utah. Thank you to David and his kids and Maggie and Austin for coming to the blessing also. Thank you Aunt Melody and Uncle Scott and Cami and Phil for coming also. Cyrus is blessed to have such a wonderful and loving family.
We had a hard time finding something to bless him in that wasn't super expensive. So we blessed him in the same blessing outfit as his Uncle Nathan-we missed you Nate.
At the church after the blessing. Happy Family!

At home, Cyrus with Aunt Amy being silly, but Aunt Ashley was making him laugh!
Emma and CJ had fun together!

Two Month Well Check
Cyrus turned 2 months on January 8, 2010. At 2 months our little Cyrus weighed 12 lbs and was 25 inches long. He is growing up so fast. He has discovered his hands and is pretty good at always getting them to his mouth. Occasionally he will miss and get a little frustrated. Cyrus really loves music and he likes it loud. If he starts to cry we just turn up the music and he will stop. He is laughing all the time and is always full of smiles. We love our little boy.
I am getting so big! I just keep getting taller and taller! Soon I will be as tall as Aunt Amy!

Cousins
Cyrus has 7 first cousins on my side and too many to count on Ezra's side. All the little cousins are so cute with him. Even my 16 year old nephew said, "I have to admit he's pretty darn cute for a baby." Emma probably loves Cyrus the most out of all the cousins. She told me, "I wish Cyrus could be my brother because Baby Cyrus is just sooo cute." My other nephew, Tanner 9, said, "I just can't stand how cute he is." Cyrus also got to meet a few of his cousins on Ezra's side when we were in Utah over Christmas/New Years-although we didn't get pictures of them all.

Over the river and through the woods to grandmother's house we go...literally
Cyrus was for the most part an excellent travel companion. He slept the majority of the way and was in a great mood when we got to Grandma's house. Grandma could carry on quite the conversation with him too. He loved her and you could tell. She got emotional a couple of times just talking and playing and saying how beautiful babies are and what miracles they are. Which I have to agree I've been emotional about since he was born-even a little before. It is truly a miracle to think our bodies can accomplish such remarkable feats. Some pictures of our visit to Grandma and Grandpa's house!
The annual picture in front of the fireplace with G-ma and G-pa! We love them so much!
