I'm Working on It!

So we all have something to work on and I admit that I am an official blog slacker! I don't really care to find the time because I'm trying to eat up every minute with my baby before I have to go back to work. However, I am trying to turn a new leaf and am slowly going to play catch up. Be patient as I do because I know that all this is old news. However, I want to record it on here because this is my family history. Plus, hopefully if I can work really hard and catch up then we will get up to date posts!

Murder Mystery Dinner Party

Our friend Emily and her husband James hosted a murder mystery party for Emily's birthday. It was a lot of fun. The setting was 1925 on a yacht called the Gilded Vessel and of course there was a murder! Well we all had our little books telling us all of our information and some not so good information too. The characters become more and more twisted with each other. It was a lot of fun. I'm probably a little biased, but I think my character was pretty much the coolest. My name was Lucinde Gucie, but I went by Lucie, I was a young Parisienne very big into the nightlife and men.
Lucie Gucie dancing the Charleston!
I think I may start wearing lipstick everywhere...I've always wanted to try but been too scared. I think it looks pretty good though!Ezra was Miles Latout, a race car driver, and myself as Lucie Gucie, heiress to Gucie Estate, I just have to wait one year! (We forgot the hat at the party, but we put it on for pictures sake).
Another shot of the dashing couple! Oooo la la, c'est magnifique! Too many sordid dirty facts known about one another sure can complicate a murder!

Erica was Desiree, a financially burdened woman who had a family vineyard that was taken out by a grape blight. Nathan was Jules (a jewelry dealer in Paris).

James was Wellington Waterloo, (the man in charge of the Gucie inheritance) and Emily was Bella, an up and coming opera star. Perhaps not so innocent...

This was Josh as Captain Mal, a decorated war hero, and Janine as Countess Nadya. Not as innocent as you may think either....

Who dunnit? Was it one of the men?

Or one of the stunning ladies...tres chic! You will never know unless you play "The Grapes of Frath"

Ezra's Birthday Bash (well kinda)

This was Ezra's birthday dinner... the dessert was delicious! Pizzookies at B.J.'s. However, you'd think it was mine since I'm the one with the spoon. I won't let go of the spoon, but sure I'll give my husband a Happy Birthday kiss! I am the luckiest girl alive to have a husband as handsome and wonderful as mine!
Darrell and Vanessa joined us for the happy occassion and then later we went to the San Genarro Fest!
Darrell said that in every picture he sees of me with food my mouth is open! So this is their Lynsie's food picture pose! I sure hope I don't look as goofy as Darrell!

I know! I know! I need to post!

I have been told by many that I need to post...if not, I am breaking some unwritten code of blogging friendship. So... I don't think I posted any pics from my birthday or any other fun stuff that happened in the last month. I hate to post without pics because it is so much more fun to look at pics!
On my birthday I went to dinner with my friend Mikkel and her cute little boy Trajen! We had a pretty good dinner, but it was more fun to just visit and talk about good ol' college days, Twilight, and kids.

My not-so-good dessert. It looks a lot better than it tasted!

Trajen blowing out my candle! It was so cute!
