2nd event- A delicious, homemade breakfast with all the fixins! (No picture either) but some of you can probably imagine. Homemade french toast (Grandma Sycamore bread-which I haven't been able to find since), homemade buttery goodness-we call Butter Syrup, fresh strawberries, eggs, sausage, and a smoothie. Delicious! After breakfast we move to the next event.
3rd event- this does not really add to the perfect day, but it made me feel a little accomplished for the day, we (yest together) did some laundry, put my Scentsy orders together, delivered a few orders, and then we came home to prepare for our first destination of the day. Here is where the pictures begin. We changed out of our clothes and left the house.
Destination #1- Pretzel Time at the mall, being pregnant, I have often been craving soft mall pretzels. However, its such a pain to go I rarely give in to my craving. Ezra and I drove to the mall parked to the door closest to Pretzel Time and sat on a bench together. We people watched and enjoyed our wonderful salty pretzels. (I could have ate his too, but I didn't).
Destination #2- This is probably the most important destination of the day! The Las Vegas Temple. It is such a peaceful and beautiful place to retreat to. Whenever I go to the temple, I wonder why I ever leave. (I'm sure the workers might get tired though if everyone wanted to stay forever, and something about a tummy rumbling always helps get you going too.) I just love the temple, any temple! The temple truly is The House of the Lord and you can feel so close to the Spirit in the temple. I am very blessed to have a temple so close and to be able to feel that peace when I make the time for it. I am going to try to go more often. I love to just sit and pray and know that God loves me and answers my prayers. My little one growing inside shows me that God knows me better than I know myself and He loves me.

Destination #3- No perfect day would be complete in Las Vegas, without In-n-Out! Because that's what a hamburger is all about! Ezra and I went to In-n-Out because by this point with only a pretzel in our bellies we are feeling empty.

Destination #4 - To top off the day we have to include DESSERT! We have been wanting to go to Serendipity 3 since it opened here. It is the same as Serendipity in New York. We thought for sure we would be waiting for awhile. To our pleasure we had a mere 15 minute wait in which we again enjoyed people watching. Ezra was laughing hysterically because of people dancing, and those of you who know Ezra's laugh when he gets hysterical, know that you can help but laugh yourself. My husband is one of the happiest and fun-loving people I know.
Dessert was beyond delicious. I ordered the frozen hot chocolate because I had to- it was my first time-and its what they are known for. Ezra ordered a sundae which was big enough for 6 people I think. It had a slice of 7 layer cake along with plenty of ice cream, hot fudge, and whipped cream. Unfortunately, my camera died before the pictures of Serendipity. Sad, I know. A lady took a picture of us and said she'd send it to my e-mail, I gave her a business card, but I haven't got the picture yet-it most likely isn't coming. I took a few with my phone-I'll try and get those up soon.
To make it more perfect we got to enjoy one of the beautiful things on the strip (not many) the Bellagio water show. We enjoyed two beautiful songs and fountain show before my bladder kicked into overdrive and I was about ready to drop kick anyone that got in my way or walked too slowly. Eventually, I gave up on Ezra keeping up and told him I'd see him inside. I think that was the most time we didn't spend together the whole day.
Then we came home and enjoyed laughing through a movie together until we fell asleep.
Ezra and Lynsie spending time together= a perfect day! The only reason I said it was nearly perfect is because it didn't have a few extra hours added to it.
