Okay, so I know if any of you have checked my blog may be wondering if I was still alive....well I am. However, I vacationed way too much and didn't even get too close to a computer. Now I'm back in school and back to the real world so I figured I should post about all my vacations! Yay! There was way too much to see to blog about all of it. I have decided to put three posts in consecutive order-one from each city. The 1st is Washington D.C. We had a wonderful time and so much fun. We loved all the history and memorials and even became Metro connosieurs by the end of each city! I will try and hit the highlights from each place (very difficult to narrow down) and then I will put more pictures in a slide show!

The Lincoln Memorial! What an awesome president!

The Washington Monument!

I love this picture because it shows everyone how disgustingly hot, sweaty, and sticky it is there! Ew Gross! We glisten!

Georgetown

On the tour thingy at Arlington Cemetery

Tomb of the Unknown Soldier- changing of the guard. Really neat!

This the ampitheatre at the Tomb of the Unknown-really pretty!

This is the marker we walked a long long way to see-as it was our Grandma's brother- we took some pictures- then when I went to visit her I told her and she said her brother's middle name was "Wadsworth" or something like that....what a waste of our legs. Although, the real marker may have been farther-who knows?

The White House at night- Ashley was pretty sure it would be easy to hop the fence if you wanted to, but for some reason she didn't want to try!

Really cool picture of the Washington Monument!

This is the water guy who got in a fight with a licensed water/ice cream seller....they were yelling and throwing water bottles and all sorts of crazy stuff!

Outside the National Archives Museum-where we saw the Constitution, the Bill of Rights, and the Declaration of Independence!
On our last night Marcy and Ryan drove us to see the Washington D.C. temple! So pretty!
