The boys in the grocery store. Caed needed some cleaning supplies.
Cyrus pretty much wants the food that looks like a ball...because it's easier for throwing!
Who really isn't odd, when you think about it? odd: adjective- fantastic; bizarre peculiar in a strange or eccentric way; differing in nature from what is ordinary, usual, or expected. For those of you who know our family I would say we're definitely a little odd!

Ok he won my heart a long long time ago! Any who know me and my family know that we love to dance! Thankfully my baby really loves to dance. On Saturday, Jan 29 we were going to go out with Liesel for her birthday since she was in town. While we were waiting for the sitter Cyrus just started dancing! I am so glad I caught some of his craziness on video. His dancing changes all the time so I may post other dance videos because I think it is so cute! Please ignore my ugly laugh. I know some of you saw this on FB, enjoy again, I do!

Cyrus turned ten months on Wednesday, September 8th. He is growing up way too fast. It's fun and exciting, but also sad. I wish I could freeze time for short chunks. This last weekend my sister got married and Cyrus decided this would be the perfect time to debut his first steps! Yep at 9 months and about 3 weeks Cyrus took his first (unforced, unaided) steps. This happened on Friday, Sept 3, 2010 in front of his Daddy, Grandpa, Uncle Nate (all the way from Taiwan just to see it) and soon-to-be uncle Teddy. Of course, Nana and I were driving the wedding gown to my sisters to drop it off. That's okay he walked for me when we got home.
Then on Saturday at the temple while waiting for pictures he took 10 steps to his awesome cousin Braydon that had sat down and said, "He sure is a pretty cute kid." Braydon was trying to get him to walk when he was only 3 months old.
So, yesterday was his 10 month birthday and I finally got a decent video of him walking. How come whenever you get the camera out all the tricks stop? The first video is on his 10 month and it's a little bumpy because I was backing up as he was walking towards me. The next is from Sept 4 at the temple.

Cyrus loves to eat! Pretty much he will eat anything but there are certain things that he really loves! Refried beans is one of those! The other night Ezra and I were trying to collate some papers so we decided that we would let Cyrus feed himself the beans. He loved them, of course, and we loved that he was entertained to let us finish the job. Even if the clean up job was a big one! These are delicious!

So- our family has a nice claim to fame now. Most little grandkids probably think their grandpa is the best and should be famous-because he's famous to them. Well, let me introduce the one and only Hall of Famer in our family.......
Grandpa and Grandma with their ten children
This is a picture of almost all of us who attended (minus JB because he disappeared and a couple who left early) it was really difficult to round us all up into one corner. Click on the picture if you want to see it bigger.Posted by The Odd Couple at 9:59 AM 4 comments

Okay as mentioned in our previous post, we took a trip to visit Grandma and Aunts in Utah. Cyrus was sick the whole trip but still did a great job. I didn't take as many pictures as usual...maybe because he wasn't feeling well. Since he was sick we didn't do a whole lot. Mostly hung around the house and visited. We did get to eat at my favorite Utah restaurants: Chic-Fil-A and Zupa's. We also had dinner with all the old high school group. It was fun to visit and show off Cyrus (even though my dad says he's not a trophy-it's still fun).
