So, I haven't done any posting on Christmas or any other exciting happenings during the holidays! I would say my New Year's resolution is to stay updated with my blogging, but I'd be lying. Sometimes I think it's a pain in the butt. I just don't always feel like finding the pictures and coming up with something fun, exciting, or funny to say.
However, my husband is out playing basketball and I'm at home. There are millions of other things I could be doing like: cleaning the house, laundry, cleaning the bathrooms, filing papers, balancing checkbook, grocery shopping, organizing, eating, or many other more productive things. But instead, I am stuck here in front of the computer screen looking for flights, reading blogs, checking e-mails, etc. So, once again I know I shouldn't but here I am.....yes, I love technology, but not as much as you, you see. But I still love technology, always and forever.
My Christmas was wonderful as is any time I spend with family. I was actually really sad to leave them this time. Just ask Emma, she'll tell you, "My Inzy cried because she didn't want to leave me." I did, and actually I want to cry now just thinking it will be a few months before I see my family again. I am so blessed to have the family I do. I know I'm a little biased but I think I pretty much have the coolest, most wonderful family ever. My sisters are so amazing and they mean so much to me. My mom and dad are nothing less than my heroes and greatest examples. My brothers are wonderful too- I don't really get to see Ryan and his family very much. But even my grinch of a brother, Nate, is one of my best friends. (He actually puts the grinch to shame because he wants to participate in the holidays less every year). You can't help but love your family when driving over the river and through the woods to Grandmothers house-smooshed in the middle seat by a sleeping brother on one side and a sleeping sister on the other and your butt has been asleep for about the last 4 hours.
I also had the opportunity to visit with cousins, aunts, uncles, and grandparents and I just love them all so much. As I sit here thinking about my totally amazing family the tears have come. They are tears of joy for having such a blessing in my life. Family make the bestest friends. (and, yes, I know that bestest isn't a word). Of course I'm sad at times because I hate being so far away from everyone- I miss out on a lot, but at least I know they are always there for me.
Okay so what I thought would be a short post turned into a really really long one. Hopefully it wasn't disappointing to those of you who actually read it. Now for some pictures. I've spent the last 2 hours trying to upload a slide show that won't work- so this is all you get for now.

Lynsie, I feel the exact same way. I love my family!! I have a blast every time I am with them. I hate to leave and almost break down every time. You included. I am so grateful for a wonderful sister-in-law like you!!
Oh Lynsie, I know exactly how you feel, except I NEVER get to see my family because I am thousands of miles away. I hate missing out on fun stuff. I have to agree, you have a pretty cool family!
I so know how you feel! I always end up crying when I leave my family, or when they leave me. And usually my mom is crying right along with me. Except I think she is crying more for her grandbaby than for me. :) After that I have to explain to Maile for a few days why grandma, papa, etc. etc. is not around anymore when she is asking for them. I also have to agree that you have a pretty cool family. I love them too!
Your post wasn't disappointing at all! I love what you have to say about your family. I think they're pretty great, too.
Lynsie, thank you for having the guts to comment on my new blog. I arranged it to allow comments not so that people could tell me how sorry they are, but just so I could know I wasn't the only one out there feeling this way. I guess a little validation helps every now and then. I miss you a lot in R.S. You were one of the faces I looked forward to seeing. Maybe we should use this as an excuse to get together socially!
Of course you feel that way! We have the COOLEST family out there! :) Your neices are all so cute-and big! Cute pics
You do have an awesome family! It's great you were able to spend time with them. Family is everything!
I would really like for you and Ezra to come and visit us, with Amanda & Milton. I need some cheering up. We could really have a great weekend! Plan for sometime at the end of March! Or at EAster!
Sincerely,
Lisa M. Hill
